Carbomer cellulose thickener acrylic acid copolymer in skin care
Bomer, also known as carbomer, is an acrylic cross-linked resin obtained by cross-linking with acrylic acid such as pentaerythritol, and is a very important rheology modifier. The neutralized carbomer is an excellent gel matrix, which has important functions such as thickening and suspending. Cosmetics such as facial masks will add carbomer, which will have a comfortable affinity for the skin.

Application field
1. Thicken. Can produce a wide range of viscosity and fluidity;
2. Suspended. It can permanently suspend insoluble components in the system;
3. Emulsify. It can emulsify and stabilize in oil or water phase.
Precautions
①After carbogen neutralization, prolonged stirring or high shear stirring will cause viscosity loss
②The presence of electrolyte will reduce the thickening efficiency of carbomer resin
③Long-term UV irradiation will reduce the viscosity of carbomer resin
