Basic properties:
Carbomer 2020 is a white, loose powder with high thickening, high transparency, medium viscosity, excellent suspension, easy dispersion, high ion resistance and shear resistance.
It soon got wet. It has high electrolyte resistance and high transparency, and is suitable for formulations containing certain surfactants. It is specially designed for thickening surfactant system. The "easy to disperse" crosslinked Polyacrylate Copolymer was prepared in a co solvent system with a toxicological advantage. It has good thickening efficiency, suspension ability, long viscous flow property and crystal transparency in gel system. Due to the low viscosity of the dispersion before neutralization, it is designed to reduce the impact of agglomeration on the dispersion in water and make it easier to pump and handle. Therefore, it is easier to prepare carbomer 2020 aqueous dispersion when the polymer solid content is high.
Suggested applications:
Transparent gel, water alcohol gel, surfactant system (special shampoos, cleaning products, etc), a system with high electrolyte content (Aloe vera gel),etc.
Using Tips:
After carbomer completely dissolves water, it needs to add alkaline substances to neutralize to achieve good results, such as triethanolamine, sodium hydroxide and so on.
