1.Appearance

• A fluffy, moisture-sensitive white powder with a slight odor. The pH of a 1% water dispersion is 3.

2.Solubility

• Dissolves in water, alcohol, or glycerol, and can neutralize alkaline solutions of hydroxides or amines.

3.Identification

• Neutralized dispersions form gel-like substances.
• A 1% dispersion turns orange when reacted with thymol blue solution.
• The same 1% dispersion turns yellow when reacted with cresol red solution.

4.Viscosity

• 40,000-60,000 mPas (for 0.5% aqueous solution).

5.Dehydration Weight Loss

• ≤2.0% (after 1 hour at 80℃).
