Basic product information:

  • Carbomer 976 is a cross-linked acrylic polymer.
  • This polymer features short rheological properties and relatively high viscosity. It is widely used in systems such as transparent gels and creams, and can form bright and transparent water-based or water-alcohol gels.
  • It is particularly suitable for various fields such as exfoliating keratin gels and scrubs.

 

 

Performance and advantages:

  1. High thickening efficiency, used for developing cost-effective formulations.
  2. High thickening, suspending and stabilizing performance.
  3. Can suspend and stabilize insoluble substances and particles.

 

 

Common application fields:

  • Exfoliating keratin gel
  • Kneading mud paste
  • Moisturizing coagulant
  • Hand, body and facial care lotions and creams

 

 

Usage suggestions:

  1. The recommended usage amount is 0.2-1.5 wt%.
  2. While stirring, sprinkle the polymer evenly into the medium, but avoid clumping. Stir thoroughly to disperse it.
  3. When neutralized to a pH of 7.0-10, the polymer has relatively ideal thickening performance.
  4. After neutralization, high-speed shearing or stirring should be avoided to reduce viscosity loss.
